You wanna play guitar? You wanna be in a band? Well, I'm the guy to see!

- "Who the heck are you?"
- I am Guitar Paul, aka: Paul The Pyronaut from The Pyronauts, aka: Paul Beatie. I play guitar, teach guitar, and eat/drink/breath guitar. Music is a vital part of my life and I love to share it with others through performances with my band, teaching private lessons, and teaching rock band classes! I never take things too seriously; music is fun for me, and I am very thankful that I get to play guitar everyday!
- "What are your qualifications?"
- I have performed with and managed my surf rock band, The Pyronauts, for over 6 years and 350 performances. At Sierra College in Rocklin, where I earned an A.A. degree in Music, I was apprentice to guitar professor Rob Bonner (from whom I took private lessons for nearly 10 years). I was also involved in choir, took audio recording classes, and earned a business degree while at Sierra. For the past 2 years I have taught private guitar lessons and rock band classes. I have recently graduated from CSU Sacramento with a B.A. degree in Economics... I know what you're thinking, "Economics?!?"
- "Where do you teach?"
- Lake of the Pines Music: private 1/2 hour guitar lessons. This is a new Music Store in the Lake of the Pines area of Auburn, CA! I teach private lessons catered to the desires of individual students and will help students prepare for monthly performance opportunities.
- Private 1 hour lessons: I can come to you or you can come to me! My specialty is Surf Guitar, but I love most kinds of music and am familiar with a variety of styles.
- "How much does it cost?"
- The price of private lessons and classes depend on the studio. Please contact Guitar Paul or the studio you are interested in for more specific pricing information.
